Read Description:

Irresistably catchy Kate Bush style anthems from the hottest new singer-songwriter on the block.

This is undeniably one of the most impressive and accomplished debuts you will have the pleasure of hearing this year. Sara has already established a successful career as a session musician, working alongside King Creosote, Micah P. Hinson, Jim Noir and The Earlies. Now, it is Sara’s turn to shine. She has already been supporting The Tindersticks on their recent tour with this material. The classic Sixties influences she absorbed as a teenager have informed a fresh, modern blend of pop, folk and rock’n’roll, driven by piano but steered by her beautiful voice.

“This isn’t a game I’m intent on winning, this is a game I wish to play..” she declares on the opening track “I Wish”, singing from the heart but with an infectious sense of fun, this is irresistibly catchy, wigging out with some psyched-up guitars for added effect. Possibly even stronger is “Down And Out” where powerful piano melodies pack feelgood punches that get stronger by the minute, so uplifting you’ll be flying high above the trees soaring with the birds.

The bottom line is these are really great songs: check them out!
