Scaling new heights of dreamy pop with dizzying peaks reached by the ecstatic crescendos.
Named after a Columbian pick-pocketing academy, the “Bells” met whilst touring with their previous bands : Benjamin Curtis is the ex-guitarist from the Secret Machines and identical twin sisters Alejandra and Claudia Deheza were previously in On! Air! Library!. Abstract and experimental in their approach to writing, the result is always glorious ethereal pop music of epic proportions. First listening bring’s immediate comparisons to My Bloody Valentine at their most melodic and the Deheza’s near identical ethereal voices have the pop purity of Saint Etienne's Sarah Cracknell (another fine Woodwork artist). This is uplifting shoegaze with a big smile on its face.
