Read Description:

Off beam retro pop perfectly offset with innocent angelic vocals.

The I Monster duo of  Dean Honer and Jarrod Gosling have been far from quiet over the last few years. In between journeying to the centre of the earth and vampire hunting they have produced tracks on Roisin Murphy’s stunning recent album, been in the studio with Cathy Dennis and worked on rapper Lupe Fiasco's Grammy winning  'Daydreamin'' single, the track based entirely on their big hit  'Daydream In Blue'.
Their music has appeared in numerous TV shows – CSI Miami, One Tree Hill, Yo Gabba Gabba and Canterbury's La, feature film Les Chevaliers du Ciel, they also wrote the main title theme of the Shaun Of The Dead movie.

A Dense Swarm Of Ancient Stars’, the follow up to 2004’s ‘Neveroddoreven’ album, was recorded in Sheffield and features sixteen truly fantastic new tracks of quirky but easy –going pop, including the “Guardian Single of the Week” “A Sucker For Your Sound”. This immense lead single rides a jaunty organ hook and features the fresh summery vocals of brand new talent Philly, watch your ass Lily Allen you have a serious contender (and not an estuary accent in earshot - phew!) This album is rammed with catchy tracks that grow and grow, but I love the feel of “Goodbye Sun” so much it has to be included here. A stonking mixture of styles from The Kinks to Take That; like sitting in the boat house of the mansion lazily and happily watching the summer rain. “Lust for a Vampyr” reveals the boys love of British Horror films via a building psychedelic swirl of violin and double hand-claps!
