Read Description:

Warm, electronic, uplifting indie pop from the uber-cool Canadians.

Following on from critically acclaimed “High expectations/Low results” & “M4”, “Feel.Love.Thinking.Of” is the third studio offering from Canadian band Faunts. Originally a 3 piece, band composing multi-layered melodies for short films and video games they have now acquired 3 more members and have found a sound all their own, one that is electronic yet warm, sequenced yet human, and never is it more evident than on this offering.

Title track “Feel.Love.Thinking.Of” gushes with electronic colouration fuelled by processed beats and heartfelt dream chords that uplift the soul and pluck the heartstrings at the same time.
With the melodic density of “Lights are Always on” the band transport the listener to a more comforting reality and conjure a sonic electric blanket that wraps the listeners ears in glowing warmth reminiscent of the Cure and Sigur Ros.

“For all the contemporary bands dancing on Joy Division’s grave, is one of the few to capture the glacial beauty of “Love Will Tear Us Apart.”  Pitchfork

"Gorgeous, lush shoe-gazey indie rock...very pleasurable"  Music For Robots

“Prepared with a rich sonic palette that combines hushed production with a love of vintage dance pop, the album is unified by the band’s careful attention to detail and top-notch songwriting.”  Exclaim

“Faunts incorporate cinematic features, dub bass, layered melodies and of course, clever rhythmic addition and subtraction.”  XLR8R.com
