Read Description:

Quietly hypnotic, idyllic acoustic music from this Irish duo.

Hailing from Dublin, charming two-some Ken Clarke and Shane O’Hanrahan comprise the unusually named, captivatingly heady, melancholic acoustic duo Norabelle.

Despite little in the way of information on offer about Norabelle, (apart from the name apparently coming from a mysterious Irish woman) debut release “Come The Bluest Dawn” tells us all we need to know with its numbingly tender hymnal elegance and Gaelic rusticity.

The four-track-EP has garnered praise from fans and critics alike (despite its limited release) and the presence of the harmonic, quietly hypnotic nature of Simon and Garfunkel, Nick Drake, The Shins, Bright Eyes, Joanna Newsom and Red House Painters shines throughout.

Track “Still” is a majestic, light-headed, romantic serenade with an alluring, humbling quality while the sea faring, idyllic offering “Lemon” has such a fragile, bitter sweet awe that you almost feel like throwing your arms around it in sympathy.
