Fresh, fierce leftfield pop
Le Corps Mince de Francoise are an electro-pop trio formed in 2007 by Finnish sisters Emma and Mia Kemppainen. They produce leftfield pop music that is both fun and fierce in equal measure, and has garnered them comparisons to artists such as “CSS” and “The Knife” and spots at some of europes biggest festivals, including Pukkelpop, Lowlands and Iceland Airwaves.
Their debut release on Heavenly Records contains a myriad of pop gems such as "Cool and Bored", this playful track combines hand claps and catchy synth riffs that act as the backdrop for the artists vibrant and edgy vocals. Meanwhile, track "Gandhi" contains a otherworldly feel due to the chanting vocal delivery which is layered upon a hazy soundscape, comparible to that of The Stone Roses.
