Fragile and enchanting alt-folk vignettes from sublime all-female trio.

Hailing from Liverpool, Stealing Sheep concoct a unique and otherworldly atmosphere, melding subtle electronics with strings, pattering drums and bewitching acoustic melodies. A rich tapestry of gentle indie-folk, the trio’s debut EP showcases their moving and densely packed songs.

With a quiet intensity reminiscent of Bjork at her most serene, and the magical melodicism of Joanna Newsom, the three-piece craft songs which are poignant and bittersweet, effervescent but imbued with melancholy, like a longing gaze after a warm embrace. Their micro-orchestra perfectly suits the hauntingly beautiful harmonies featured here.
