Colleen is a hugely respected French multi-instrumentalist/ composer with an unnerving  ability to create innovative minimalist melodies. She moulds her craft by combining modern technologies with a skilled use of acoustic instruments, often rescuing obscure relics of musical past and using their inherent resonance and timbre to craft magical environments. You shouldn’t take anything from her music, instead sit back and let it take you on a unique cerebral and visual journey. Colleen’s music has been appreciated by audiences of thousands worldwide, playing such prestigious venues as London’s ICA, V & A and Union Chapel,  the Brussels Planetarium, and the Se Cathedral of Lisbon. All suitably elegant home for such wonderfully scenic music.

2007’s “Les Ondes Des Silencieuses” is her personal tribute to the aforementioned acoustic instruments she loves so dearly. Each track is focussed around the warmth and character of sounds that may otherwise be forgotten in the mists of time. “Sea of Tranquillity” is a carefully worked picture of natural fragility, the sounds are beautiful yet delicate and there is the feeling the whole thing could collapse on itself at any minute like a new born taking its first steps into the world. “Sun Against My Eyes” is a more melancholy affair, plucked strings trickle up and down the minor scales in the background whilst the track is led with sorrowful woodwind drones conjuring up a tale from a life of fatigue.

Her work was recently licensed by Woodwork for two Oscar shortlisted films : "In A Dream” and "Elegy" featuring Ben Kingsley, Dennis Hopper and Penelope Cruz.
