A rich, timeworn sound that exists somewhere between Americana and spectral British indie rock.
Driver drive faster, a four piece hailing from Manchester UK, although upon listening to their debut release you wouldn't place them anywhere in or around Manchester. Their sound is far from the typical connotations of what "Manchester" band should sound like. If anything they are part of a fresh scene doing it's best to deter from Mancunian bands of the past.
Their latest release "Open House" is crafted song-writing at its best, hinging on stirring chord sequences and moments of fragile beauty. This release is full of variation and really takes you on a journey of mixed emotion. There are slow songs you can reminisce to and upbeat songs with a groove you can move to, all in all a must listen for any indie rock fan.
