Du are a Norway based trio, and include former members of pop sextet Bogus Blimp. Their debut album entitled Hey Space! was released in 2007 and subsequently released in Europe during 2009. Their sound has been described as pop noir, and this can be heard on their latest album “Risk and Investment” released via our newest label signings Trust Me records.
Key tracks on the album include “Softness”, a four to the floor beat drives this song along, as lush synth sounds entwine with one another to act as a hook. The chorus is euphoric, boasting inspiring lyrics, catchy melodies and wonderfully slick vocal harmonies. Track “So Hot” is a dynamic track on the album, containing an energetic feel due to a fast paced synth riff layered upon frenetic drumbeats. Meanwhile pads of synth infused throughout add to an otherworldly atmosphere.

“Such sounds! you’ll want to embrace the songs as if they were corporeal, with the fat bass lines and the mellower pads, that come into a shape that is modelled by the soft (softness is indeed great) guitar playing.” -Avantgarde Metal Magazine
